ABOUT OUR LOVELY B&B
Welcome to our home. Beulah Cottage was built at the turn of the 19th Century in a rural location, just outside the historic village of Aldington in Kent.
It's a traditional oak-framed and ragstone building with a weatherboard exterior so it's a little quirky but it comes with oodles of country character that we hope you will want to share.
The word Beulah is thought to have originated in the 17th century as a reference to heaven.

We are located near J11 of the M20, a 15 minute drive from the Channel Tunnel and just 25 minutes from Dover. The International (Eurostar) Station is even closer at Ashford, providing fast rail access to Disneyland Paris and the rest of Europe
​
So, if you are seeking a romantic getaway weekend, breaking a journey to or from the continent, attending a local wedding or simply want to enjoy what this part of Kent has to offer, then our little piece of heaven is here waiting to offer you a warm welcome.

Check in between 5 and 7 pm, and rooms must be vacated by 10 am (or by special arrangement)

Shopping
Ashford Designer Outlet, Canterbury and Maidstone provide a great range of shopping. Even Calais is only 35 minutes by shuttle!
Historic Sites
Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle, Dover Castle, Hever Castle and Rye are within a short drive

We are a short drive from some of the most renowned vineyards in the south-east

The world famous park, run by the Aspinal Foundation is less than three miles distant

Super fast trains run from Ashford International Station into St Pancras every half hour and take just 35 minutes

The Coast
This part of Kent has the sea on three sides. Experience the Cinque Ports, historic Whitstable, seafood in Folkestone or Dungeness or simply soak up the sun on one of the many beaches
Pubs and Restaurants
There's a great range of pubs in the local villages, offering real ale and mouth waterings menus. For those who prefer a more formal restaurant there are lots to choose from
